Moonless Night

On a dark moonless night...
I sit back to think of my old friend...
Who came like a bright star in the twilight...
and then dissapeared into the moonless night....
Where has he gone I sit back to think...
But alas! I get no answer...
He who was my closest one
Whom I shirked not to tell anything
Who bore the answer to my every question
and was my soulmate in my depression
Who shared my laughter with greater enthusiasm...
and shed the tears with more regression..
Oh!! tell me lord what had I done..
to lose the one and only one
who my friend who was my soul
who was my only one in the world!

If There's By John Ragland

If there's one face I want to see,
so beautiful, so true,
one smile that makes a difference,
to everything I do.

If there's one touch I long to feel,
one voice I long to hear,
whenever I am happy,
or just needing someone near.

If there's one joy, one love,
from which I never want to part,
it's you, my very special love,
my world, my life, my heart.

- John Ragland -

BELIEVE ME

Believe me, if all those endearing young charms,
Which I gaze on so fondly today,
Were to change by tomorrow, and fleet in my arms,
Like fairy-gifts fading away,
Thou wouldst still be adored, as this moment thou art,
Let thy loveliness fade as it will,
And around the dear ruin each wish of my heart
Would entwine itself verdantly still.

It is not while beauty and youth are thine own,
And thy cheeks unprofaned by a tear
That the fervor and faith of a soul can be known,
To which time will but make thee more dear;
No, the heart that has truly loved never forgets,
But as truly loves on to the close,
As the sunflower turns on her god, when he sets,
The same look which she turned when he rose.

FAR FROM ME..!!!

I am shut out of mine own heart
because my love is far from me,
nor in the wonders have I part
that fill its hidden empery:

The wildwood of adventurous thought
and lands of dawn my dream had won,
the riches out of Faery brought
are buried with our bridal sun.

And I am in a narrow place,
and all its little streets are cold,
because the absence of her face
has robb'd the sullen air of gold.

My home is in a broader day:
at times I catch it glistening
thro' the dull gate, a flower'd play
and odour of undying spring:

The long days that I lived alone,
sweet madness of the springs I miss'd,
are shed beyond, and thro' them blown
clear laughter, and my lips are kiss'd:

And here, from mine own joy apart,
I wait the turning of the key: -
I am shut out of mine own heart
because my love is far from me.

here i AM

In the last few weeks, I’ve been trying to see if I can discover a little bit more of my creative side. I look at all these magazines and wish that I had ideas like they present. I really didn’t know where to start, so I thought I would begin with trying new foods and write a song on it. I know that sounds silly but I’m trying to be creative with it. So far, its been fun. I’m learning a lot about music and how to use different chords on a guitar to create music that I never knew existed.
I really wish I had a natural obvious talent. I’ve tried to learn how to play the guitar, but I have NO rhythm. I try to pick out new types of clothing but they stay hanging up in my closet. I tried to learn how to knit last fall, I suck at it. I pretend to be crafty with my kids and they end up showing me how I’m doing it wrong.
I'm pretty sure I’m just scratching the surface of something really beautiful to come..

VALUE HAS A VALUE ONLY IF ITS VALUE IS VALUED…

Well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a Rupee 500 note. In the room of 200, he asked, “Who would like this Rupee 500 note? “Hands started going up. He said, “I am going to give this note to one of you but first let me do this.” He proceeded to crumple the note up. He then asked, “Who still wants it? “Still the hands were up in the air. “Well,” he replied, “What if I do this?” And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. Hepicked it up, now all crumpled and dirty. “Now who still wants it?” Still the hands went into the air. “My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth Rupee 500/-.

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt bythe decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value. You are special. Don’t ever forget it! Never let yesterday’s disappointments overshadow tomorrow’s dreams.

If the Titanic was made in India:

10) There would be 10 times as many people on the ship.

9) There has to be a song with a girl wearing a white dress, singing in the rain.

By the end of the movie he finds his mom, dad, sister and brother.

7) It's seven and half-hours long.

6) The movie would be called "Doobta Hua Pyar".

5) Kate Winslet played by Madhuri Dixit, and Leonard Di' Caprio played by Salman Khan.

4) The boat would sink, because there are too many people on it.

3) None of the people would float for long cause of the saris.

2) They would be serving mango fruity on the boat.

1) Wait a minute it was an Indian movie if you think abou it.
AND
Can you imagine how many times we would hear "Bachaoooo"!!!
PS: The hero, heroine, his mom, dad, sister and brother will float in the cold water for days and yet survive. The villain will drown in the first drops of water

REMEMBERING MY CLASSMATES

Remembering my class mates, after few years,
My eyes were filled with tears,
Everyone now is busy a lot,
No one escaped destinys plot

Saw the girl, whom once i thought as my best frnd,
Oops! today she is somebody else girlfrnd,
After months remembered about her for a little while,
Heard she is happy, that made me smile.

Project reviews to campus interviews,
Nicknames to last bench games,
Cultural rehearsals to love proposals,
Short term crushes to class room blushes.

Everything is fresh in our mind,
Wish life could just rewind,
Lets laugh, play & rejoice,
Once again become school guys.

Chatting & laughing. We all were in elation,
Till the painful moments of seperation,
When it was time to part,
We returned with a heavy heart.

Today life is full of commitments,
And too many worries,
But those cherished moments,
Will live forever in our memories!!!

A Love Like No Other

I never felt a love
Like this before
It's a love like no other
Something I have always hoped for

A love with friendship
Humour and heart
A bond so strong
It would never part

A love that makes you smile
From ear to ear
A love that is joyful
Without any fear

A love that is beautiful
From the inside out
A love with no tears,
Pain, or doubt

A love with soul
So tender and true
A love that I have found
Only in you...

Its You..

If there's one face I want to see,
so beautiful, so true,
one smile that makes a difference,
to everything I do.

If there's one touch I love to feel,
one voice I love to hear,
whenever I am happy,
or just needing someone near.

If there's one joy, one love,
from which I never want to part,
If there's someone whom i want to say
my world, my life, my heart.
Its no one else..
But U.. its only you..

lipsstick in school

According to a news report, a certain private school in Washington was recently faced with a unique problem...

A number of 12-year-old girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom. That was fine, but after they put on their lipstick, they would press their lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints.

Every night the maintenance man would remove them, and the next day the girls would put them back. Finally the principal decided that something had to be done.
She called all the girls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man. She explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the custodian who had to clean the mirrors every night. (You can just imagine the yawns from the little princesses).
To demonstrate how difficult it had been to clean the mirrors, she asked the maintenance man to show the girls how much effort was required. He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet, and cleaned the mirror with it. Since then, there have been no lip prints on the mirror.
There are teachers ... And then there are educators.

missing you

Nothing to say
Nothing to do
It was just a day
A day without you

I don't why
A hundred times of why
Even though you made me cry
Missing you terribly, I can't deny

When you came into my life
You made it so bright
Cause it was you
The man I'd love so true

Now I'm alone
Hoping you'll come along
It will be a dream come true
If tomorrow will be me and you.......
